  • 02/26/2021 - Students, Parents, and Guardians: PA Cyber will be replacing the anti-virus application that is currently installed on student laptops with a new software application named BitDefender. The migration process will begin on Wednesday, March 3rd and extend through June 1st. At approximately 3:45 pm each day, the Technology team will push a script to uninstall the old anti-virus application and install BitDefender to a precise number of student laptops. When this occurs, you may see a pop up message on your laptop telling you that your laptop will reboot in 5 minutes. If you do, you will not need to do anything. Just simply let the laptop reboot. If the laptop is turned off at that time, the script will execute when the laptop is turned back on. We encourage all students to close documents and coursework at the end of the day, and backup files periodically. Should you have any questions about this email and the migration process, please contact the PA Cyber student helpdesk at 888-722-9237 or at the following email address, Thank you for your cooperation.
